Dr Tamitha Skov has developed a new way of looking at the sun’s activity by overlaying the magnetic field lines. It has revealed some new secrets (at least to me) in that if you call her report last week, it illustrated a jet stream of plasma erupting from about 11 o’clock as we see the sun. Just before that, there were two massive ejections in those same diapole locations she is referring to. Stay tuned as we get better at translating this new view.
