As you know Earth is influenced by the electromagnetic stream of plasma directed our way from the sun either by solar wind streams from coronal holes or Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs).
The Suspicious0bservers, an online research community investigating solar activity, earthquakes, astrophysics and weather.
Outstanding informed coverage of all earthquake, tsunami and volcanic activity in vivid detail.
The Space Weather Enthusiasts Dashboard has a wide variety of measurements in real time.
Schumann Resonance measures the “pulse” of the planet. Long ago that was determined to be 7.83 hz, however the current average for years now has been more like 12-14 hz with severe spikes into 40-100+ range frequently.

Geostationary satellites are usually protected to some extent from the effects of solar energetic particles by the Earth’s magnetic field. But, when the magnetopause, the abrupt boundary separating the solar wind from the Earth’s magnetic field, is pushed towards Earth (inside GEO orbits) by a major coronal mass ejection, some satellites will lose this protection and suffer damage from an increased flux of high energy particles.
